- Three 4,651 kW steam-fired LiBr absorption chillers
- Two 4,767 kW hot water LiBr absorption chillers
Primary Function: Utilizing low-pressure saturated steam at 0.13 MPa, recovered from synthesis tower waste heat, to achieve a cooling temperature of 6.1°C for process applications.
General introduction
The total project investment was 3.5 billion CNY, with construction beginning in April 2008 and completion in October 2010. Aligned with trends in the domestic PVC products market, this project supports ongoing economic development.
Project highlights
Waste Heat Recovery Absorption Chiller
This unit uses low-pressure saturated steam at 0.13 MPa, sourced from synthesis tower waste heat recovery. It operates with a cooling water temperature difference of 28–32°C and can function effectively even when cooling water temperatures drop below 15°C. Additionally, it utilizes cooling water at four times the national standard rate and includes a freeze-prevention feature to protect piping without requiring the cooling water pump to stop.
