Inner Mongolia Ordos Metallurgical Group Co., Ltd, established in April 2003, operates as a circular economy industrial park. The company’s PVC division planned to replace its old steam-driven LiBr absorption chiller in the refrigeration station due to operational issues. The old chiller had suffered from water ingress into the inner cavity caused by heat exchanger tube leaks, leading to swelling and deformation of the generation and absorption components. Additionally, the condenser was facing dew point issues, and the LiBr solution had run off, further impacting performance.
