At the beginning of 2025, Hope Deepblue's 44.8 MW LiBr absorption heat pump will commence operation in Wudi County, Shandong. Located in Wudi County, Xingxing Thermal Power is a traditional coal-fired power enterprise responsible for generating 700,000 kWh of electricity and producing 1,200 tons of industrial steam annually while providing heating for over 4.5 million square meters. Recognizing the importance of efficient waste heat utilization, the company made substantial investments in technology and resources in 2024 to develop a new waste heat recovery project. This initiative focuses on recovering boiler flue gas waste heat and optimizing thermal energy utilization.

Hope Deepblue, as a professional manufacturer of LiBr absorption chillers and heat pumps, was honored to supply the core equipment for this project. The company's advanced heat pump systems fully harness the advantages of waste heat recovery, transforming waste into valuable energy and contributing to clean heating and green industrial development in Wudi County. Currently in the commissioning phase, the project is poised to become a regional benchmark for energy savings, environmental protection, and low-carbon development.

Once fully operational, the project is expected to deliver impressive results. Each year, nearly 200,000 GJ (gigajoules) of geothermal heat can be extracted, while approximately 133,000 GJ of flue gas waste heat can be recovered during each heating season. These measures will indirectly expand the heating area by 300,000 square meters, reduce standard coal consumption by 19,000 tons annually, and decrease CO₂ emissions by 34,000 tons and SO₂ emissions by 141 tons. This will significantly enhance energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
